  • 200 g Paneer Indian cottage cheese, grated
  • ½ cup Mixed vegetables carrots, peas, beans, finely chopped and boiled
  • 2-3 tbsp All-purpose flour maida
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp Garam masala

For the Gravy

  • 2 large Onions finely chopped
  • 4 large Garlic cloves minced
  • 1-inch piece Ginger minced
  • 3 large Tomatoes pureed
  • ½ cup cashews soaked in warm water for 30 minutes
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Oil or ghee clarified butter
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste

  • 2 tbsp A little heavy cream for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

  • Combine – In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, grated paneer, boiled mixed vegetables, all-purpose flour, salt, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well to form a smooth dough-like mixture. Make sure there are no lumps.

  • Shape – Divide the mixture into small, equal-sized portions and shape them into round or oval koftas. You can make them as big or small as you like.
  • Deep fry – Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully slide in the koftas individually. Fry the koftas until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
